Simultaneously reading and writing the symbolic landscape of public communication, Sign is an interpretative music video of urban typography. Visually, the work is a compilation of photographs and graphic illustrations culled from the streets of Williamsburg and beyond. Sonically, these words, spoken aloud, are composed into phrases that interpret fragments of a city through the typography of the streets.
